Fifth Week Update Log


Hello there!

This week we developed several upgrades to the game.

Firstly, Bernardo focused on the game UI by adding the needed information so that it would be more perceptible to the player of what he has and what he needs to do in the game. Thus, we implemented the money and reputation UI, the fuel and the boost UI, the closest client UI, the distance of the drop positions when the player is on mission for the different types of missions and also, the main menu of the game.




On top of that, we added some in-game instructions to guide the player about the tasks that he has to complete.

Meanwhile, Diogo finished modeling the whole game world, set up the respective missions, assigned the money and the completion time to each one of them, and now he is working on a shop/inventory UI.

On top of that, Gonçalo finished populating the world with cars, and now he is populating it with NPCs.

Lastly, Guilherme finished the mafia missions, implemented the money and reputation systems, the gas stations, game analytics, applied a sunset environment to the world with an ocean, and added buttons for when the car is stuck or is dropped out of the world. 

Now for the MOJO, all we have to do is correct some minimal details, add a few sounds and hope that we will see you there to play the game on its debut!
